"I found joy in the truth that God loves me.
All my life has been a struggle- hashtag the struggle doesn't compare- not even close to where I've been.
Picture this scene with me:
my dad cheating on my mom and I saw it with my own eyes.
There was a part of me that felt responsible for the brokenness.
I felt responsible for the what happened. I thought it was all my fault
so I hid everything from everyone.
…
But today, God showed me that I am beautiful and I no longer had to fight what I saw in the mirror. It was true what He said- I am His princess and for me, He bled.
I found hope at summer camp.
I found peace in Jesus.
I committed my life there and now I know He can free us.
I found joy in the truth."
