Star Rock Ministries and UYWI (Fuel Networks) teamed up to provide two winter camps this season. Winter Camp 1 (March 15-17) at Hume SoCal provided over 150 campers and volunteer staff from the Long Beach Network the gift of winter camping. Enjoy a few highlights of this memorable weekend from our LB partners:
It was amazing. Students shared their willingness to forgive others (family, relationships, friends, themselves) as they began to dig deep into Gods forgiveness towards them.
Students who struggled with vulnerability at home in LB opened up, shared their aches, struggles, prayers and genuine joy with leaders and cabin groups...the campers were full of life!
Yes! Students played in the snow, slept in cozy cabins, laughed, worshiped, sipped hot coco, took deep breaths of crisp mountain air, and gathered around tables with friends and leaders eating, remembering and experiencing how much God loves and cherishes them.
